For the Horse
To begin:
An initial treatment will be up to 90 minutes, which includes understanding the history of the horse. This is important for understanding the medical history to tailor the needs of the horse.
The client will be sent a form at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

​Follow Up
Follow up sessions will include up to 60 minutes, with 45 minutes treatment time and 15 minutes consultation and feedback. This allows time for discussion about the recent developments since the last visit. Having recently been elected onto the Equine Shiatsu Association Committee, your horse will be in knowledgeable hands.

Please note that treatments for multiple horses at the same yard on the same day, can be at a reduced horse of £40. Please note veterinary permission is required before I can treat your horse.

For the Rider

To begin:

An initial first session includes up to a 90 minute session. This includes understanding the client history to tailor a treatment to those needs, this can be physical medical history or recent emotional events that may include grief and stress.

To continue:
​
The following sessions can be tailored to an individual but the standard follow up is 4-6 weeks. These treatments are up to 60 minutes- 45 Minutes Shiatsu, 15 minutes discussion and feedback. However, it is recommended that an initial 3 or 4 sessions are within close proximity to each other. All sessions will aim to optimise well being and support general health.

-A minimum of 48 hours cancellation fee will be expected at full charge if cancellation occurs.
-I am fully registered with the Equine Shiatsu Association.
-I am fully insured with Balens.
-I have recently been elected on to the Equine Shiatsu Association Committee.
-For treatments with horses, veterinary permission is required.
-Mileage is charged at 48 pence per mile for trips further than 20 miles.
​-The horse should be dry, ready for their Shiatsu session.
-To get the best from your Shiatsu Session, Ideally the treatment not be at feed time or excitable when waiting to be Turned out.
-Human's should be wearing loose clothing, which is suitable for stretching the body.
-Please be aware Shiatsu is not a replacement for veterinary treatment or Medical Appointment.
Please make sure I am aware if the Patient or Horse is Pregnant as there are Shiatsu Points that are Contraindication during Pregnancy.

Bespoke shiatsu
A package for you and your horse can be provided bespoke to your requirements.
This could include a rider and horse treatment on the same day. For riders a 30 minute session could include a Chair Shiatsu Session. A full 60 minute Shiatsu massage will include a full body treatment.
